West Michigan Trails and Greenways Coalition West Michigan Trails and Greenways Coalition The West Michigan Trails and Greenways Coalition is a non-profit group of like-minded donors, organizations and volunteers who are dedicated to developing non-motorized trails and greenways into a linked system that connects wilderness areas, parks, historic landmarks and cultural sites throughout West Michigan.

Musketawa Trail Musketawa Trail - member of the West Michigan Trails/Greenways Coalition and a sister trail of the Paul Henry - Thornapple Trail. 25 mile long trail located between Marne and Muskegon, MI.
White Pine Trail White Pine Trail - member of the West Michigan Trails/Greenways Coalition and a sister trail of the Musketawa Trail. It is a 92 mile long trail between Grand Rapids and Cadillac MI. Click HERE to view their old web site which still has useful information.
Kent Trails

 

Kent Trails - is maintained by the Kent County Parks and Recreation Department as is the section of Paul Henry - Thornapple Trail with in Kent County. A connector to link these two trails is being developed along the M-6 South Beltline.

 

Walker Highlands Trail The Friends of the Walker Highland Trails have plans to develop and maintain a non-motorized trail system within the City of Walker. This system will serve as the “hub” to connect existing trails such as the Musketawa Trail, the White Pine Trail, Kent Trails and the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail.
Fred Meijer Trail

 

The Fred Meijer Heartland Trail The Fred Meijer Heartland Trail, as proposed, is a paved hiking/biking path that extends approximately 30 miles along abandoned CSX railroad right-of-way going east of Elwell in Gratiot County, west through Riverdale, Vestaburg, Cedar Lake and Edmore. At Edmore, the trail turns south and runs through McBrides, Stanton, Sidney and ends at Lake Road in Montcalm Township just north of Greenville.

Barry County Parks - owns approximately 10 miles of mostly undeveloped Paul Henry - Thornapple Trail corridor within Barry County. The Barry County Parks Trail Committee is working with The Thornapple Trail Association to develop and maintain this section of trail. Barry County Parks' office is located at Charlton Park.
City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department - maintains the 2.5 mile section of Paul Henry - Thornapple Trail with in their city limits.
DALMAC DALMAC - is an annual bike tour sponsored by the Tri-County Bicycle Association of Lansing MI to raise money for bicycle awareness. Funding for the computer equipment used to maintain this web site was provided by grant from the DALMAC fund.

 

Whispering Waters Campground Whispering Waters Campground - is located on the Paul Henry - Thornapple Trail between Middleville and Hastings. The owners are strong supporters of the trail.
